What If You Were Gods Only Choice?

Alexzandria Rogers

Have you ever considered that you might be someone's only connection to God? It's a profound responsibility that calls us to see others through God's eyes, filled with empathy and understanding. Join me as I share personal revelations on how this perspective can transform our lives. Embracing a God-centered view not only helps us reject negative self-talk and sheds the burdens of shame but also empowers us to strive towards loving our neighbors and using godly judgment. By recognizing our own imperfections and removing the metaphorical speck from our eyes, we open ourselves to genuine connections and a clearer path to humility.

This episode invites you to explore the transformative journey of viewing ourselves and others as God sees us. Discover how aligning with this perspective can reveal our unique worth and purpose, encouraging us to remain remarkable. By understanding that God values everyone, even those we might be quick to judge, we learn to appreciate the distinct roles we all play in the world. With vulnerability and compassion, we can foster meaningful interactions and ultimately guide others towards Christ, living according to His standards. Join me as we navigate this spiritual journey together, embracing the profound impact of seeing through a God-centered lens.

Speaker 1:

See others how God sees them, because you may be their only chance to their opening, to their access, to have a conversation and to have a relationship with God. What is up party people? Welcome back to another episode of Remarkable Revelations. My name is Alexandria and on this channel, I help women tap into their God-given worth by giving my God-given revelations. Um, I have my notes here, so we're just gonna flow through this really quickly, but, as you can tell from the title, um, what if you were God's only choice? This is so simple, but I feel like it is going to push God's kingdom agenda so much. I want to break this down into two parts. Like this year, god has been really teaching me and telling me Alex, I need you to see my people how I see them.

Speaker 1:

You may be in a situation where someone says something to you or do something to you, or does something to you, and you snap, you go off and you have no idea that that person was on their last hope. Excuse me, that person was on their last hope of even, you know, having an opportunity to have a relationship with Jesus and you messed that up for them. Granted, granted, we serve an almighty God. God can do what he want. You know he always leaves the 99 to go after the one, but when you give your yes to God, that's it. I mean that's it. So you represent him and it's so important to have that in the back of your mind. It's the greatest command that he has ever given us, and it's to love our neighbor. And that doesn't mean to allow someone to take advantage of you. It doesn't mean that. But the Bible is full of wisdom and ways to properly respond to an offender who has wronged you in a way that God can still be pleased with your response. In addition to that, a verse that has been drilled into my brain this year as well is Matthew, chapter 7, verses 1 and 2, and it basically tells us whatever tool you measure to judge someone else to give them feedback is the same exact tool that God is going to use to judge you. So let's be mindful about how we approach certain situations. Uh, and also in that same chapter, matthew, chapter 7, it basically says like you can see the speck in somebody else's eye, but you don't even see the speck in your own eye, how about you remove the speck from your eye and then maybe you'll be able to see clearly, and by that meaning, when you can see clearly, you have more of a godly perspective and with that you begin to be able to understand a person, you begin to be able to empathize with that person. So your approach is different.

Speaker 1:

We're not perfect, and I forgot which pastor said this. God knows that we're not perfect. He's just looking for us to take the steps towards the person who is perfect, which is him, so he can complete, you know, the goal for us because he's the only one that can do it. So I say that to say we're not going to always get it right, we're not always not going to respond in the in the godly way. But you repent from that and now that you have the wisdom and God has granted you mercy in that situation, just be mindful the next time you have an encounterment with someone who is frustrating you at work or you know in that relationship or whatever the case may be. It's a Kirk Franklin song, I think it's called Try Love and the verse verse says don't you know that you just might be the only Jesus that they see? Just saying you never know. So that's the first part. It's just being mindful.

Speaker 1:

The second part I wanted to tap into is humility. When you see others the way that God sees them, it humbles you. God is saying, hey, see them how I see them. Which means hey, alex, somebody has to see me how God sees me, because I'm not perfect, so insert your name Jasmine Stacey, brittany, tom, josh, whomever right. People have to see you how God sees you and that humbles me because, before I fix my mouth to say anything about anyone, I'm reminded like hey, I have a speck in my own eye and God does have parts in the Bible where he does encourage us to use judgment, but it's godly judgment, meaning you're judging someone based off of this and you can apply it to that, but also in addition to if it's wise and if you are also holding yourself to the same standard, like you, don't just get to go off the rails and judge people Because, at the end of the day, this is the only thing that can judge anybody. Also, in chapter seven, it basically breaks down do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.

Speaker 1:

When you choose to take a step back and see people how God sees them. Back and see people how God sees them, it opens up a world of understanding and empathy and being able to just connect with another human being, and it takes vulnerability to do that. The problem is is that, though we are not of this world, unfortunately we are in it, which is good because we have. We all have the same agenda and that's to, you know, bring others to Christ. But because we are in this world, we think we know everything, everything you know. We go out and become and get knowledge in one little area and all of a sudden, we're experts and it's like, no, like you're not the way, god is the way, and that is the only uh motive that we should be pushing. That's the only standard that everyone needs to be trying to achieve. We get up there and he says well done, my faithful son, my faithful daughter. So I just finished recording, but I want to insert this because I thought about it after the video.

Speaker 1:

But when you view people the way that God views them, it's like an instant reward, because that applies to how you talk to yourself. When you start having, like, negative thoughts about yourself and being mean to yourself and just saying all kinds of things, that's not God talking to you. So you need to view yourself. I need to view myself, the way that God sees me and the way that God sees you. And when you have that perspective, there's no shame. You're not a victim. Like he understands, he made himself like us so he can be able to sympathize. That's the amazing thing about serving an almighty God. Who knows how cool is it to say, like man, god thought they needed a you, god thought that person that you want to be mean to and be rude to, god saw them fit too to be on this earth. So so dope. Okay, I hope this was helpful. Nice and short, nice and sweet. Remember to always stay and be remarkable and I will catch you in the next one. Bye.
